BLACK AND WHITE

INTO THE LIGHT
TRiPTYCH
This started out as an assignment for my D300 course. You can take up to 10 exposures on 1 frame. So this was done on a tripod and moved upwards 10 times. Then for CPS we have a Triptych Competition. I have done three and this is my b&w version.

Thanks Mary. Val triptych I guess means three in one. My new camera allows you to set within the menu how many exposures you want on one frame and you can do up to 10. It will automatically allow for the exposure. You are right - this is not done digitally. I did change it to b&w digitally but you can also do that within the camera once you have taken the shot. But you only get a JPEG not RAW. These multiple exposures can be done RAW though.

That's so cool and pretty--cool too that your camera lets you do that.

I do not believe mine does, I tried to do it but couldn't figure out how.

Judge didn't like this one. He didn't think the little picture added anything to it. Well I guess it doesn't. I just tried joining the two main ones together but that is not very impressive either.

But the judge did like my boats. Maybe I will put them in our year end favourites. They were prints and I think look better as prints. They came second in the coloured print section of the 3 of a kind competititon.
