Some apple blossom blended with a layer of a macro shot of the inside of a camelia.
Zoom effect brushed out on main flower.

I am posting a lot today as we are leaving on Wednesday for the Scillies so I figured I'd try to catch up before we left.
WOW! Very cool and pretty--nice red. Thought it was a tulip--so bright. HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
Where are the Scillies? Will you be taking pix?
This is an incamera effect where you zoom while shooting, right? If so, how did you get it to come out so good--use a tripod? Mine never look that good. I just shot about 20 if them and deleted them all.
I see there is a tutorial at the Digital Photography School.
I have gotten a FEW good ones. But this one is REALLY nice.
I looked on Photoshop to see if there is a zoom digital effect, but no.

No it was done in Photoshop. If you go to filter - blur - radial blur then once you open up radial blur you have the choice of zoom. And you can move the grid or point in the part of the grid that you want the zoom to flow from. But then I brushed the flower back in using a layer mask. We were actually shown this effect at one of our digital workshops at the club.
OH, I looked at Radial blur. I didn't see it. Don't really know how to use the layer masks very well.
I'll look again.
