Reminds me of your aconite with the brightness of the duck against the dead vegetation and reflections of dead vegetation. Makes the mallard stand out!
I stuck this in even though it wasn't a theme. I could put it under wild animals for July 21! LOL! I guess we have a category also for stuff that didn't fit anywhere.

what lovely colours these ducks are, haven't seen any here yet... must be all in Michigan...
Or we have "birds" on Aug 4th.
I guess that would be the best place for it, though the season is all wrong, LOL!
Boy, we got LOTS here, now, and geese too, and hawks.
