Flower Photo Monday: The Peony Tulips

Funny that none of us have posted to the flower theme! I have SO MANY
FLOWER Photos! That's just the problem though.

I decided to post this, not because it's my best flower photo, it's
not, but I like it anyway and it's cheery. It's funny how these
tulips remind me of peonies! And it is right in our backyard. As
soon as I have time, I will try to find some other ones that might be
closer to being really outstanding, I hope.

I do so love flowers and spring, but have been terrifically busy! Phew!

How absolutely beautiful and delicate colouring. Wonderful light. I can quite see why you like it. I do too. Have just been working on some Scilly Flowers which I should post but am about to break off and cook some dinner.

Oh I just read it again and it is not a peony. I can see that now with the leaves but it does look like a not so dense peony. Adorable!

Oh good, I am glad you like them, too! Our real peonies are going to open shortly!

I hope your dinner was good. Ours was great. :-D

We were camping at the Pinery (in Canada) over the last weekend for 4-5 days and it was so cold at night we had trouble sleeping. :-(

The flowers were WAY behind from previous years we'd been there at the same time. (Our Memorial day weekend!)
