Smudge Painting (with real paints): Tulips at the Village Market

My printer wasn't working right and the print came out bad so I
painted it with acrylics--right over the lousy print.

Ooh fantastic colours Mary. Any more trouble from your printer and you won't be bothering with photography any more. Certainly I can see why you were printing it out as it's a great image anyway. You should put up the original smudge for comparison as I assume you were happy with that before you printed it. I can't imagine though that it is as good as this.
GORGEOUS!!!!

Let me know what settings you are using on your printer and the printer and I might possibly have some ideas.

In this case, the printer just ran out of ink. But it never prints the pictures the way they look on the screen. They are always darker and a little mnuddier looking. But I do not know whjat setting you mean. I always set it to photo paper plus and highest quality. (I have two printers and three computers and none wrok right.
