Kisses!

I took this yesterday with my new tripod that I got for Christmas.
YAY! Took it at Dodge Park, where we went on our
motocycles--brrr--cold ride. Then I fiddled with it in Picasa. No
time to play on Photshop right now. WIll change to the date to the
right themese day a little later--ASAP.

Winter Reflections

A smudge painting in progress with detail. Click images to see larger. You really need details to see what I've done--and I prolly should have posted the original.

Smudge Painting of Rachel

I didn't know whether to put this under family in FFT or as a challenge
or theme picture but decided to put it here. The third picture is how
the photo looked when I downloaded it from the camera--the flash
failed. The second was when I applied auto levels. The first is a
rapid smudging of the adjusted picture. I like it because it looks a
bit old fashioned. Click image to see larger.

Winter Trees

Somehow these winter trees were calling me more than their higher twins. Mary

Winter Trees in the City (At night!)

For some reason the words did not post.

I took these tonight with a tripod during a snowstorm. The sky was really reddish, due to reflected lights from businesses. I did enhance it slightly, but did not create it.

Winter Trees in the City (at night), by Mary Taitt. (I love YOUR winter trees, Kate, but none like that here!) Click images to view a little larger.

One of these trees is back-lit and one front-lit and the difference here is interesting.
